Spring in the air.....

Right now there is a breaking point outside.
The sun shines warmly against the cottage wall but in the shade the night frost remains well past lunchtime.

I can find the rhubarb and the bush peony well underway and the yellow poppy is already forming a blanket over the front door stonework that it has taken possession of.

Everything seems to be running past me. I don't think it's really time to sow seeds etc. when the frost is still there....I want to be able to sit against the cottage wall and knit for a long time in the sun.
